The Town of Skykomish is hosting a public Fireworks Display from the area of Railroad Ave. This can be viewed from several locations in town. Please let your guests know they are welcome to attend.
The Town of Skykomish's Ordinance 480 bans the use of personal fireworks. Fireworks are also illegal in unincorporated King County. The ban includes the days prior to and after the 4th of July.

During 2023, the Town of Skykomish water met all Federal and State Drinking Water Standards.
Working with TranspoGroup, the Town has added a Transportation Plan component to the 2015 Comprehensive Plan and approved a Transportation Improvement Plan.
The Skykomish Comprehensive Plan serves as a blueprint for the growth and development of the town for the next 20 years and beyond. It presents the goals and policies that shape the decisions to function, develop, and even inspire, the community over time.
The Plan helps guide the Town in prioritization of matters including land use, housing, transportation, economic development, environmental protection and sustainability, as well as funding for public facilities and park development.
